£20,000 Needed
TAG need to continue fundraising to cover the huge costs that have been incurred by giving the sanctuary its own dedicated electricity supply. The sanctuary previously shared its supply with a local caravan park. Growth of the rescue centre with more animals needing our help meant that the original supply was not sufficient for the power needed. The lack of power meant constant power cuts and overloading of the system, the new supply has enabled TAG to ensure that all animals in its care are safe and warm during the colder spells. Building works have been undertaken over the last 12 months to lay pathways that connect all our animal pens. This work was essential due to the deterioration of the current pathways which became a safety issue in wet weather. All the works have taken their toll on the TAG bank account and we need to recover these by fundraising.

TAG would now like to start work on essential repairs needed to its "Sunshine Block". This block is in direct sunlight during the warmer months and the heat is too high for animals to endure. We would therefore like to turn the block around to give shade to the animals. There is also a need for new flooring tiles and roofing to be replaced. We have unfortunately had to close Sunshine block down until these works have been undertaken. With our ever growing waiting list of animals to come in we hope we are able to raise the £20,000 it is estimated to cost.

TAG would also like to build a reptile house as we are often asked to help with these creatures and we do not have facilities to help at present. We would like to have state of the art accommodation for reptiles who are so often in need of help and specialist care. An isolation unit is also desperately needed to give care to the sick and injured animals that come to TAG on a regular basis. We need an area where we can give dedicated care to those animals before they are ready to integrate with others in the main centre. TAG have the dream to build and the land available and we now need to work on fundraising to fulfil these dreams. If you can help in anyway we would be very grateful.
 

Make Regular Donations
In order for TAG to continue its necessary work, we of course need regular funding. TAG run solely on the kind donations of the public and receive no funding from other sources. If you think you can help us with our plea for funding on a regular basis why not set up a standing order with your bank. As little as £5 per month will help us feed one of the hungry mouths here at the Sanctuary. You will at anytime of course be able to cancel your request with your bank if your circumstances change.
